To apply for the fund, you’ll have to send an application to the email given below with major highlights of your profile along with your CV / Resume. Please go through this entire blog before applying.
The Process
- We have individual PhD volunteers assist in the evaluation of applicant profiles to identify highly qualified candidates. They will shortlist the top applicants.
- Once shortlisted, Applicants will be called for a one-on-one interview with the fund representatives who will then do further evaluations and provide a final decision on their application.
- Once Selected, We proudly cover the application fees for their graduate school applications ( Application Fees, GRE/TOEFL / WES and other conversions etc )
- Furthermore, we extend our support to applicants at no cost, aiding them in enhancing their profiles through services such as GRE study materials, resume critiques, profile evaluations, and more.
Note: The fund will only help students applying for fully funded Masters / PhD programs In the US. It’ll only cover expenses for the application process.
Application
To apply, please send an email to applications@gradapplicationhelpfund.com with the following details:
- A copy of your resume/CV
- An explanation of why the graduate school application fee poses a financial challenge for you (max 3 sentences).
- Specify the field in which you intend to pursue your Masters/PhD. List the graduate programs you are contemplating applying for.
- Major highlights of your profile which mark you as a top candidate to land a fully funded PhD/ Master position in the US
How To Stand Out In The Application Process?
We receive a lot of applications and our filtering process is quite strict. We want to ensure the fund supports the most talented students with a high chance of securing fully funded programs.
Apart from good academics and Test Scores, Here are some factors that will play a decisive role in the selection. Please include these factors in your application (If you have them) for a better chance of acceptance.
Positive Reply From Professors or PIs
Adding Screenshots of conversations with the professors / PI’s where they have provided a positive response ( Not generic ones) will mark you as a top candidate increasing your chances of acceptance into the fund.Note: For Applicants applying for Spring / Fall 2025 Attachments of positive responses from professors / PI’s have been mandatory. Applications without such attachments won’t be considered for now.
Research Papers
Having high-quality research papers marks you as a top candidate. If you have research papers please mention these details about them in your application:
- The present condition ( Published/ Under Review/ Not Published)
- Impact factor of the journals that accepted the paper and their type (Q1, Q2, Q3 etc)
- Number of citations in the published paper.
- Number of Google Scholar citations of their recommendation letter writer
Exceptional Awards, Grants / Scholarships.
Other than this if a candidate has won some prestigious international competitions ( Like Olympiads, hackathons etc), Grants from the university for research or attending top conferences as well as some exceptional scholarships. It’ll also mark them as a top applicant.
Things to consider
- Make sure your resume / CV is properly updated and is of proper length 2-3 pages max.
- In the application avoid fluffs and stick to facts. Focus on providing major highlights of your profile which ranks you as a top candidate.
- In the application mention anything else relevant to your profile that can convince us that you’re a top candidate.
Even if a candidate is not accepted for the fund we will still help them with resume critiques, guidance and suggestions along with some additional resources to help them in their journey.
